Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Brent, London
Contract: Temporary, 3-months with potential for extension
Age Range: 1-5 years
Salary: £22.70 PH UMR
Hours: Full-time, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Role

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a temporary basis. You will work alongside our experienced early years staff to deliver high-quality care and education, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 1-5.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
  • Contribute to team meetings and the continuous improvement of our setting.
About You
  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) essential.
  • Experience working with children aged 1-5 in an early years setting.
  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required.
