Job summary

Childbase Partnership Ltd is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (qualified or unqualified) for Woodlands Day Nursery, Barnet. The role is permanent, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 16:30-18:30, with a salary of £14.11-£16.63 per hour. The setting emphasizes care, inclusion and development of young children.

Role: Nursery Practitioner (qualified or unqualified).

Location: Woodlands Day Nursery | Barnet | EN5 2HL.

Contract: Permanent | 10 hours/week | 52 weeks/year.

Working pattern: Monday-Friday 16:30-18:30.

Salary: £14.11-£16.63 per hour.

About You
  • You are passionate about inspiring children: You have some experience of caring for babies and children aged five and under, ideally in an early years environment; holding a DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above is advantageous though not essential.
  • You are skilled in creating opportunities for learning: Your knowledge of child development, and ideally your EYFS knowledge, will enable you to support with planning and implementing high quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play; assisting with observing, assessing and recording children's progress.
  • You are an advocate for safeguarding: You will ensure every child feels safe, valued, and happy and their well-being is promoted.
  • You are collaborative: You enjoy working in partnership with others, and will effectively communicate with children, parents and colleagues, building strong and positive relationships.
