First Place Nursery Bushey, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a proactive Nursery Practitioner to support delivery of high-quality care and education for children.

You will work with a caring team, follow EYFS guidance, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to a welcoming, safe learning environment. The role offers flexible working and genuine career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years care and education delivery.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure required standards are delivered
• Ensure effective implementation of EYFS procedures and allocate children to keycarers
• Ensure practice meets EYFS requirements
• Provide professional feedback to parents about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop positive working relationships with staff and parents
• Maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers

What Will You Be Doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
