Job summary

Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool in Buckhurst Hill, Essex is seeking a full-time, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join the team. The role involves planning engaging activities, building strong parent partnerships and ensuring child welfare.

Qualifications

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

  • Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones
  • Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships

Nursery: Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Day Nursery and Preschool, 82 Palmerston Road, Buckhurst Hill, Essex, IG9 5LG Salary: Starting £29,000 (dependent on qualification/s and experience) Hours: Full time, 40 hours, Monday - Friday Location: Buckhurst Hill, Essex, IG9 5LG We are looking for a full time, qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Buckhurst Hill Nursery, situated Buckhurst Hill, Essex. The nursery is on Palmerston Road with local access to shops and restaurants, along with being close to bus stops for the 549 and 304 buses. Offering alongside this is an onsite buggy park.
