About The Role

We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Nursery Team at Butlin's Bognor Regis.

The Early Years Practitioner will be responsible for being a key worker, participating in planning, organisation, and operation within the room. They will provide a stimulating and varied programme of play alongside team members, ensuring children's safety and well-being at all times. The role involves working with the Nursery Leadership team to deliver a consistent experience for parents, carers, children, and the team, while fulfilling the key responsibilities and compliance requirements of Butlin’s Little Learners Day Nursery.

We offer an engaging activity programme and value consistency of care. The practitioner will help create a safe, supportive environment that promotes each child's development, adhering to safeguarding policies. Responsibilities include activity planning, child observation, maintaining development records, and delivering a stimulating and creative atmosphere with a wide range of activities.

Key Responsibilities

You should have strong knowledge of safeguarding statutory requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, with a caring and nurturing attitude towards children and excellent communication skills.

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:15 am and 5:45 pm, paid fortnightly.

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is desirable; however, candidates with a Level 2 qualification seeking career progression are also encouraged to apply.
