Job summary

Nursery Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment Teaching Agency is a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to supporting our educators every step of the way!

Tradewind are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated level 3 early years teaching assistant to join a Wigan Nursery school. The role is on a full-time basis 5 days a week starting as soon as possible, on a temp to perm basis. The role is working 40 hours a week with hourly pay rates for this position £14.00-£15.00 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Assisting with planning and delivering activities and lessons
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers
• Supporting children with their personal care needs
• Keeping records of children's progress and development
• Contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.

Requirements

• NVQ level 3 qualification
• Experience of working with Early Years children
• SEN experience would be an advantage.
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
