TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a warm and welcoming nursery in Bingham, supporting them in their search for a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join their team.

This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for someone with a genuine love for working with children aged 0–5 and a strong understanding of early childhood development.

We are welcoming applications from practitioners with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is nurturing, reliable and committed to providing high-quality care and education.

Hours for this role can be shift-based, with the nursery operating between 7:30 am and 6:00pm. Applicants must be flexible and open to working within these hours across a weekly rota.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to the nursery’s location but this is not essential.

The successful Nursery Nurse will have:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • A kind, caring and patient approach
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete one)
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to child welfare
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0–5 in an early years setting
  • A genuine passion for early years education and helping children reach their full potential
  • A flexible and positive attitude towards shift work and the needs of the nursery
  • Someone proactive, enthusiastic and ready to become a valued member of a friendly team

If you’re a committed Nursery Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive Alfreton setting, we’d love to hear from you!

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
