Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner in Wirral for flexible day-to-day and long‑term work, with an Immediate Start available. The role covers children aged 0-5, with duties to support learning and wellbeing under the EYFS framework.

The successful candidate will hold Level 2/3 credentials, a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and experience in an Early Years setting. PAYE earnings reflect market rates, with supportive onboarding and CPD options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support children across the nursery following EYFS.
• Deliver engaging activities for 0-5 age group.
• Ensure children are cared for in a safe and positive environment.

North West/ temporary / £14.25 - 18.00 per hour Depending on experience

Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work in Wirral?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established nursery setting in Wirral. The nursery provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, with a focus on supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The nursery is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for both day-to-day and long-term work, with an Immediate Start available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the nursery, following the EYFS framework, delivering engaging activities and ensuring children are cared for in a safe and positive environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
