Nursery in Quinton – Early Years Practitioner (37.5 hours per week)

Monarch Education is currently recruiting an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a well-established Nursery in Quinton. This role offers 37.5 hours per week, on a varied shift pattern.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a UK Nursery environment and hold a recognised Early Years Qualification. Your responsibilities will include providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0 to 5 years, supporting their development through engaging and age-appropriate activities in a nurturing setting.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and implementing stimulating activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Supporting children’s emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Ensuring compliance with Nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress and developmental milestones.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
