Nursery Manager – Walton-on-Thames
Permanent, full-time
Salary: from £51,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager, who is looking to lead our growing team and be part of an expanding Nursery Group.
Our Nursery
Toad Hall Nursery was established in 1998. The Walton-on-Thames setting is located near the heart of the town and provides a car park for the team to use. In 2017, our team were awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating.
Our 123-place nursery in Walton-on-Thames has good transport links with local bus stops. Walton-on-Thames train station is a 10 minute walk away, with Hersham train station being a 25 minute walk away. There are local convenience shops which are a 5 minute walk from the nursery.

About the role
With overall responsibility for the running of the nursery, you will have experience in recruiting and managing staff, promote and market the nursery to achieve occupancy targets, take responsibility for the nursery’s budget and be in charge of building maintenance. As an experienced Nursery Manager, you will also build and maintain excellent relationships with the children in your care and their parents, taking an active role in ensuring that nursery life is safe, stimulating and compliant with EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.

Your qualifications and experience:
In addition to a full and relevant Level 3 qualification and an enhanced DBS check, the ideal candidate will also have a higher childcare qualification and/or a management or leadership qualification. It would be desirable for you to have experience in opening a new setting and strong leadership skills.
