Job summary

Banana Moon Day Nursery Hounslow is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead the team, maintain high standards of care and education, and drive ongoing development with the Directors and Banana Moon support network.

You will ensure safeguarding, EYFS compliance, Ofsted readiness, and build strong relationships with children, families and staff while growing occupancy and delivering exceptional childcare.

Qualifications

• Required Level 3+ qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Extensive experience leading an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Proven Ofsted readiness and ability to drive quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation with clear, visible leadership.
• Ensure high-quality care and education aligned with EYFS.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
• Develop nursery staff through supervision and training.
• Manage staffing levels and ratios.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and Ofsted preparation.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Work with Directors to drive occupancy and growth.
