  • Oversee nursery operations, including staff schedules, budgets, health and safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Promote the ethos and values of The Old Station Nursery, ensuring they are deeply embedded in daily practice.

  • Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the nursery.

  • Confidently lead inspections and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.

  • The nursery in Rugby is a carefully planned, purpose‑built nursery which offers a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our community's children. The nursery was opened at the end of 2021. The nursery is light and airy even on cloudy days and we are fortunate to have an allotment space for the children to develop a lifelong love and understanding of sustainable planting and growing. The Old Station Nursery Houlton is in close proximity to Houlton Play Park and the new Co‑op, with easy access to the main Crick Road and a car park right next door.
