Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for a Level 3 role in Hemel Hempstead. You will lead a welcoming setting, ensuring children’s safety, happiness and development are at the heart of daily practice.

You will oversee operations, staff, occupancy and budgets, ensure EYFS delivery and safeguarding compliance, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care and education.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential
• Previous experience working as a Nursery Manager – essential
• Proven track record of leading an Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding
• Experience leading, motivating and developing nursery teams
• Confidence managing nursery operations, staffing, occupancy and budgets
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• A proactive, professional and hands-on management approach

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high care and education standards
• Lead, motivate and develop the nursery team; foster a positive working environment
• Ensure learning experiences align with EYFS requirements
• Maintain safe, secure and stimulating environment for children
• Oversee safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory compliance; manage staffing, occupancy and budgets

£40,000–£45,000 per Annum | 37.5 Hours per Week

What We're Looking For
