Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Nursery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a nursery, ensuring high standards of care and professional management. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and develop partnerships with parents and local authorities.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a supervisory role in childcare, NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and a management qualification, with a current First Aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in a supervisory role delivering services to young children.
• Sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to age five.

Responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with Local Authority, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
• Manage nursery occupancy to show growth and meet business aims.
• Maintain accurate accounts and produce management information.
• Manage, monitor and control budgets and petty cash.
• Identify training needs and develop a training plan for staff.

This position requires previous experience in managing the day-to-day running of a Nursery. You will be responsible for all financial operations, the recruitment and ongoing training and development of staff whilst ensuring the nursery is being run to the highest standard in the upmost professional way.

Nursery Manager - Qualifications & Experience

• A Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
• A higher-level qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education/Childhood Studies
• A management qualification
• A current First Aid qualification
• A sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in the delivery of services to young children

Nursery Manager - Key Responsibilities
