Overview

As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for leadership, management and daily operations in the nursery. This position involves managing personnel, upholding legal regulations, providing the best possible care and education for the children, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. You will work closely with staff, carers, and parents to ensure development and well-being of children.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the nursery, including planning schedules and organising resources.
• Leadership and Team Management: Train, supervise, and motivate staff, ensuring efficiency in their roles.
• Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional and intellectual care for the children.
• Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, and keep them informed of progress or any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by carrying out frequent risk assessments and ensuring safety and health regulations are followed.
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
