Kinderland South is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead daily operations at our Croydon site. You will oversee staff, safeguard EYFS practices, and ensure every child enjoys high-quality early years education in a warm, home-from-home environment.

Job description

The rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Manager to come onboard and join the Kinderland South adventure!We welcome you to join our well-established, family run Kinderland Day Nursery where we strive to ensure our team and families feel at home from the start.

Kinderland is, and always has been, run by the Mullins family who absolutely adore running the Nurseries and are very passionate about providing fun and exciting Early Education in Croydon. We have two beautiful Nurseries, one in South Croydon and one in Central Croydon. Our South branch has been running since 1995 and we have just recently opened the Central branch last year!

We have a great management team behind our nurseries, and you’ll be well supported by our Area Manager, Head of Ops and Directors. We also have a supernumerary Quality Manager and a SEND & Inclusion Manager who both work across both sites. The Nursery office also has an administrator. This team enable our Nursery Manager to really focus on the day to day running of the Nursery and to make sure the children have the best possible experiences and so much fun!

Criteria

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
• A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 minimum, with higher qualifications desirable).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Dedication to early years and desire to strive for excellence.
