Responsibilities of the Nursery Teacher Lead
  • As a Nursery Teacher Lead, you will create and deliver interactive and age-appropriate activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, catering to children’s developmental needs.
  • Leading the nursery class, the Nursery Teacher Lead will foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment, preparing children for primary education within a two-form entry school setting.
  • The Nursery Teacher Lead will work with nursery assistants and early years staff to plan, coordinate, and deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and joy in learning.
  • Communicating with parents and carers, the Nursery Teacher Lead will keep them informed on their child’s progress and achievements.
  • Collaborating with the wider school team, the Nursery Teacher Lead will ensure smooth transitions for children moving from nursery to primary, supporting them as they progress through the EYFS.
