Location: Rochester
Contract: February 2026 July 2026
Hours: 8:30am 12:00pm (3.5 hours per day, 15 hours per week)
Salary: £14 £16 per hour

TeacherActive is delighted to be supporting a primary school in Rochester that is seeking a dedicated and confident Nursery Lead to oversee their morning Nursery provision from February to July 2026. The school offers a warm, inclusive and engaging environment where children feel supported, inspired and ready to learn.

The school is looking for an experienced practitioner who can lead morning sessions for children aged 3 4, guiding staff, supporting planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences. You will ensure the smooth running of the Nursery provision, promote positive behaviour and learning through play, and work closely with the Early Years team to uphold high standards.

The successful Nursery Lead will have:

• Experience leading or supervising within an EYFS/Nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A nurturing, confident and proactive approach
• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 CACHE or equivalent required; Level 5 desirable)
