Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring for a Kitchen and Domestic Assistant at Hampstead Gate Day Nursery in Milton Keynes. The role involves preparing meals from a set menu with fresh ingredients, plus assisting with domestic tasks to maintain a clean, hygienic environment.

You will work varied shifts Monday to Friday, 07:30–18:30, with pro-rata benefits and a contract of permanent, 37.5 hours per week. Applicants must have catering experience, COSHH knowledge, and a good understanding of allergens

Qualifications

• Professional catering experience to prepare meals from a set-menu using fresh ingredients.
• Knowledge of COSHH, allergens and manual handling to maintain 5-star hygiene standards.
• Safeguarding of children and dietary needs awareness.
• Collaborative team player engaging with colleagues, children and parents.
• Right to Work in the UK and DBS checks as part of safer recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome meals in line with the nursery's set menu.
• Restock supplies in kitchens and bathrooms, clean as required.
• Maintain 5-star hygiene standards and safe environments in kitchen and domestic areas.
