Job summary

The Learning Experience in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nursery Kitchen Assistant to support meal service and maintain high hygiene standards in our nursery kitchen. You will assist with food preparation, deliver meals to rooms, and ensure areas are clean and compliant with safety policies.

Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, good time management, and strong communication skills. Prior kitchen experience is preferred and training on food hygiene will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef during meal service by assisting with food preparation and delivering meals to the rooms.
• Wash and sanitise kitchenware, including dishes, utensils, and food preparation areas.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with nursery policies.
• Support the safe storage of food and kitchen supplies.

Role Overview

This position is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene across the nursery and supporting the Chef with meal service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing kitchen duties and ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for children and staff.
