Toad Hall Nursery Group in England is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep the nursery clean, safe and welcoming. You will support daily routines, assist the Nursery Chef/Cook with kitchen duties, and follow Health and Safety policies to protect children, parents and staff.

The role covers cleaning schedules, laundry management, stock control of consumables, waste disposal and ensuring a tidy, hygienic environment throughout the nursery, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to organise a cleaning schedule in line with daily routines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all nursery areas.
• Follow health and safety policies and COSHH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Organise a cleaning schedule aligned with daily routines.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, floors and surfaces.
• Manage laundry and stock of consumables (soap, towels, toilet rolls).
• Handle waste disposal and keep storage areas secure.
• Assist Nursery Chef/Cook with kitchen duties and food hygiene checks.
