A leading nursery group in Chesterfield is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to ensure high cleanliness standards within the nursery. The position, from 1pm to 6pm, involves maintaining a tidy and safe environment, managing cleaning supplies, and collaborating with the educator team. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role and understand health and safety regulations. Competitive hourly pay of up to £12.21 based on qualifications, along with various benefits including 50% childcare discount and annual wellness day off.

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.
You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.
