Abacus Ark Nursery in Southfields (New Site) is hiring a Nursery Third In Charge (Health & Safety Lead). This full-time role covers a 4-day week with a focus on health and safety leadership, staff support, and parent communication.

You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to run a compliant, high‑quality nursery environment. The ideal candidate has Room Leader experience in an early years setting, holds Level 3 CACHE/NVQ in Childcare or equivalent, and can obtain an enhanced DBS.

• Experience as a room leader in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high standards of care.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership support to the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager.
• Act as Health & Safety Lead and ensure risk management and compliance.
• Support curriculum delivery and parent communication.
• Maintain accurate records and support regulatory compliance.
