Nursery Deputy Manager

Location: Stirling

Our client is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join their team in providing high‑quality care and education to young children.

The Role
  • Demonstrating outstanding practice
  • Supporting the staff team in developing practise through modelling and or training
  • Liaising with parents and other professional agencies to support children’s learning
  • Reviewing policy and procedure and ensuring policy is followed at all times
  • Taking the lead in the absence of the manager
  • Understanding the needs of the business
  • To understand registers/booking systems including funding
  • To conduct supervision interviews and support staff to reach targets
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Team player able to step into Manager’s role within 12 months
  • Management experience
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development training
  • Desire to continue with professional development
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of child development and the EYFS
