An established nursery organization in Brighton is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to support operations, oversee teaching, and manage staff. Candidates should possess a level 3 qualification and relevant experience. The role offers competitive remuneration, including bonuses and training opportunities. Salary: £28000-35000, plus annual bonus. £1500 joining bonus – paid £500 on joining, £500 at 3 months and £500 at 6 months if probation passed.
Hours: 38 hours per week over x4 days. The role is half office based and half overseeing/working in the rooms.
Probation Period: 6 months

This exciting and varied job will challenge you as well as keeping you motivated. You’ll work closely with our staff teams to assist the Nursery Manager to help oversee the operation of the nursery to the highest standards, oversee Teaching and Learning, as well as acting as SENCO across the nursery.
You will manage the provision, including staffing levels in the absence of the Nursery Manager and work closely with all the Room Leaders to ensure that teaching and learning is of the highest calibre. You may be called upon to cover in rooms.
