Kids Planet Basford is hiring a Nursery Cook to join our team. You will prepare healthy meals for children, manage allergies and dietary requirements, and maintain a clean kitchen in line with health standards.

The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with no weekends or bank holidays, and opportunities for training and development through KP Academy. We value inclusivity and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Catering experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• By preparing healthy, nutritious meals, accommodating allergies and special dietary requirements for all children.
• Through maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen, ensuring compliance with environmental health standards.
• By collaborating with children and the nursery team in snack-making and baking activities.
