A childcare services provider is seeking a passionate Nursery Cook in Southwell CP to prepare nutritious meals for children aged 0–5. Nursery Cook Wanted 🌟

Are you passionate about preparing nutritious meals for little ones in a warm, nurturing environment? We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Cook to join our client's team and help fuel the future with healthy, delicious food!

📍 Location: Nottingham, NG14

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30, 40 hours per week

💷 Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing fresh, balanced meals and snacks daily for children aged 0–5.
  • Ensuring all meals meet dietary requirements and allergen guidelines.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in line with food hygiene standards.
  • Keeping accurate records of food temperatures, deliveries, and allergen information.
  • Collaborating with nursery staff to support children's health and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements — you'll be confident in managing food allergies and intolerances.
  • Enhanced DBS check — a current certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Comfortable with paperwork — you'll be happy to complete food safety logs and allergen documentation.
  • Warm and friendly personality — you'll be a valued part of our nursery family, interacting positively with children and staff.
Highly Desirable
  • Previous experience in a nursery or school setting.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or above.
