Job summary

A leading cleaning service provider in Greater London is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented self-employed cleaner. The role involves maintaining high hygiene standards in a nursery, ensuring safe and clean spaces for children, and performing light kitchen duties. Ideal candidates should have previous cleaning experience, an enhanced DBS, and be available Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm. This position offers £14 per hour with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Must be self-employed and able to provide proof of status.
• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Previous cleaning experience in nurseries, schools, or commercial settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of hygiene standards in childcare environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be available Monday to Friday, 2pm–5pm.
• Must be able to start immediately.

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, play areas, toilets, and communal areas.
• Wipe down surfaces, toys, tables, and frequent touchpoints.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Empty bins and manage waste safely.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
• Ensure all areas are left clean, hygienic, and ready for the next day.
• Follow nursery health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
