Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Class Teacher with a commitment to providing the best start in education for young learners? Reed Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Plymouth to recruit a talented teacher for an immediate start.

This is a full-time role with full classroom responsibility, including planning, assessment, attending meetings, and supporting early development milestones. You’ll be paid to scale from day one and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a nurturing, supportive school setting. This position is confirmed until July 2026.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for Nursery pupils.
  • Plan and assess in line with EYFS framework and school expectations.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure strong home-school partnerships.
  • Communicate professionally with staff and external agencies.
What We’re Looking For:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years/Nursery settings.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Creative and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • DBS on the Update Service is a plus, or willingness to obtain one through Reed (£49.50).
