Job summary

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Class Teachers for short and long term roles across partner primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. You will contribute to diverse assignments, from weekly supply to longer placements, with support from a dedicated consultant and access to CPD opportunities.

Ideal applicants hold UK QTS, have experience in UK primary schools, and possess knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain it is preferred.

Qualifications

• EYFS knowledge required.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Experience in UK primary schools preferred.
• Paediatric First Aid knowledge or willingness to obtain it.
• Flexible, positive, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursery level teaching within EYFS in partner primary schools.
• Adapt to different school requirements and placements (short and long term).
• Build rapport with learners and staff and support behaviour management.
• Participate in safeguarding and vetting procedures as part of the agency process.
