Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Nursery Chef in Epsom, United Kingdom, to prepare meals for around 100 children. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm, with delivery of meals within the nursery.

Candidates should have Level 2+ Food Hygiene and relevant cooking qualifications, preferably with nursery or school experience. Salary is up to £32k depending on qualifications and experience, with good transport links nearby.

Qualifications

• Level 2+ Food Hygiene is essential and current.
• Qualifications in cooking and food preparation are required.
• Experience cooking for children in nursery or school settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for around 100 children daily, Monday to Friday 7.30am–5pm.
• Deliver meals to the nursery and ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Plan menus, develop recipes and manage costs.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.
