Qualifications

• Experience working as a cook in a kitchen environment is essential.
• A Level 2 food safety and hygiene certificate is required, Level 3 preferred.
• Experience with EHO Investigation process is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create healthy and nutritious meals suitable for young children.
• Build and implement an allergen matrix for the core 14 allergens.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Chef who can contribute to the high level of care the nursery provides by using their skills to make well thought out and planned meals for the children in their care! The successful Nursery Chef will work with the staff team to plan, organise and serve meals to the children in their care, and will be passionate about creating healthy and nutritious meals suitable for children aged 5 and under.

The successful Nursery Chef will:

• Hold a level 2 (required) or 3 (preferred) food safety and hygiene certificate.
• Have experience working as a cook in a kitchen environment
• Have experience with the EHO Investigation process
• Be able to build and implement an allergen matrix with the core 14 allergens
