Job summary

Partou Safehands Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate is seeking a dedicated Nursery Chef for a full-time, Mon-Fri role (35 hours per week). You will prepare nutritious meals for children with consideration for dietary needs and allergies, while maintaining a safe, inclusive kitchen and working closely with childcare staff.

About the Role

Partou Safehands Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking an enthusiastic chef to take on the full-time Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week role of Nursery Chef.You'll have the rewarding role of preparing delicious, nutritionally balanced meals for our children, never forgetting to cater to any specific dietary needs or allergies.You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain asafe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues.

About You

• Minimum Level 2 food and hygiene qualification
• Proven chef experience, ideally in childcare settings
• Sound knowledge of child nutrition and allergy awareness
• Ability to work independently and in teams, maintaining calm and professional approach
