What you will be doing :
  • Designing and preparing6-monthly seasonal menus, taking into account feedback from catering staff, Nursery Managers, and Regional Managers
  • Supporting and guiding catering staff and working closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure meal preparation meets high standards
  • Monitoringkitchen and food safety standardsto maintain compliance and excellence
  • Assisting with therecruitment and onboardingof catering staff
  • Auditing nursery kitchens to ensure they meet internal and external food safety requirements (TCC and PSN)
  • Ensuring all kitchen paperwork isaccurate, up-to-date, and compliant
  • Building strong, professional relationships with nursery staff to create a collaborative kitchen environment
  • Previous experience in similar settings— such asnurseries, schools, care homes, or hospitals— ishighly desirable, particularly where nutritional needs and food hygiene are a priority.
