Job summary

Little Elms Shirley is seeking Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses to join our bank staff, covering shifts on a zero hours contract at Little Elms Daycare Nursery Shirley Limited.

The role welcomes those with a Level 2+ Early Years qualification or nursery experience, a passion for the 0-5 age group, and good communication. Successful applicants will need Enhanced DBS and references.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 2+ qualification in Early Years.
• Experience working in a nursery.
• Interest in working with young children (0-5 years).
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding training and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts as bank staff on a zero hours contract.
• Support the nursery team across multiple sites on a bank basis.

Our Shirley nursery are looking for Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses to work as bank staff covering shifts working on a zero hours contract.

The ideal candidate must have:

• A full & relevant Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years if preferable
• Experience working in a nursery
• An interest in working with young children (from 0-5 years)
• Team player
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to use initiative
• A passion for the Early Years
