Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to work with children aged 0-6 years at a Nursery school in Southport, Liverpool. This is a full‑time position offering competitive salary based on experience and market standards, with flexibility for long‑term, full‑time, or day‑to‑day assignments.

Tasks

As a Nursery Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care and support to children aged 0-6 years.
  • Assisting with daily activities, including play, learning, and feeding.
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
  • Supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children.
  • Working with primary school children with special needs (preferred).
Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An enhanced DBS check on the updated service.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 3 months of working experience with early years or nursery children in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Experience or a willingness to work with children with special needs is a strong advantage.
