Job summary

Premier Education Ltd are working with a friendly nursery in Sandbach to recruit a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis (40 hours per week) with start ASAP.

You will support children aged 0-5 under EYFS, plan play, foster learning, and build relationships with families; ongoing training and progression are offered.

An Enhanced DBS and two references are required; unqualified applicants may progress to Level 2/3 qualifications.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to gain Level 2/3 qualifications and DBS checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive.
• Plan and participate in play-based learning activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play.
• Observe children's progress and contribute to learning journals.

Nursery Practitioner - Full Time (Permanent)

Contract: Permanent | Full Time (40 Hours Per Week)

Hours: 40 hours per week, worked over 5 days between 7:30am and 6:30pm

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a friendly and well-established nursery who are looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Applications welcomed from:
  • Unqualified candidates willing to complete a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification

• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, caring, and reliable attitude
• Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential for unqualified applicants
• Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
