Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Nursery Assistant for our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in Gloucester. This bank/part-time role involves supporting care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, in a gym-based nursery setting.

You will work with a small team to deliver high‑quality early years provision, emphasising health and wellbeing, with strong communication to parents and carers. DBS check is required; Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

£12.84 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Nursery Assistant to be based in our Nuffield Health gym.

As a Nursery Assistant, you already understand how to communicate with young children and you want to work in a nursery setting. Ideally, you have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, but this isn’t essential. As part of your application for this role, you will require an enhanced DBS check.
