Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• A caring, patient and positive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, flexibility and a proactive approach.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
• Previous childcare experience or a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential for all placements.
• Willingness to complete the necessary compliance checks, including an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, learning and development of children in the nursery.
• Assist with engaging activities that encourage creativity, play and early learning.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Support children's personal care needs, including mealtimes and hygiene routines.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure children's wellbeing and safety.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times.
