Nursery Assistant Faringdon, up to £15.25 per hour

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join a well-established organisation in Faringdon, providing high-quality care and education to children from birth to 5 years old. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and educational development of young children, working collaboratively with a team of experienced staff in a beautiful nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care and support to children in a day nursery environment, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met

Work effectively as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging activities, promoting learning and development in children from birth to 5 years old

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and nursery policies

Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, communicating effectively and responding to individual needs

Required Skills & Experience

Experience working in childcare, either as a nanny or in a nursery setting, with a strong understanding of child development and learning

Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities in a busy nursery environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Commitment to providing high-quality care and education, with a passion for supporting the emotional and educational needs of young children

Competitive hourly rates of £13.85-£14.70 per hour
