Overview

Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time Position. Monday to Friday (Part time and full time available). Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Nursery Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse to work in a small nursery located in Stretford, Trafford. The role is available ASAP and is on an ad hoc basis. You will be working between 8:00am-5:00pm five days a week, depending on the shifts offered.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of young children aged 0-3 years.
• Work alongside experienced staff to create a fun, engaging and nurturing learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
• Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities and lessons.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Support children with their personal care needs.
• Keep records of children's progress and development.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the nursery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of working with Early Years children.
• Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
