Job summary

Long-Term Teachers is seeking a Nursery Assistant for a Nursery School in the South Bristol area. The role starts ASAP and is full-time, working within a classroom alongside other nursery staff and a class teacher.

The successful candidate will have prior experience with children, be nurturing and enthusiastic, and able to adapt activities while supporting families and the local community.

Joining this Nursery School, you will work in collaboration with an excellent, dedicated and experienced team committed to providing a safe and inspiring space for your child to learn and develop.

The Role

Starting as soon as possible, you will have the opportunity to work within a classroom of children working alongside other nursery assistants and a class teacher too.

The Head is looking for someone who has prior experience working as a Nursery Assistant or a Teaching Assistant, someone who has a very caring, nurturing and passionate nature, someone who can build strong relationships with children and their families.

You will be expected to:

• Have previous experience of working with children.
• Be comfortable in your abilities to adapt activities and encourage engagement.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Feel part of the community and help and advise others.
