Job summary

Family First Nurseries Group is hiring a Nursery Assistant at The Marlow Riley Park Day Nursery & Pre School in Marlow, United Kingdom. You’ll help ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, support EYFS activities, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

• £26,436.80 per annum

We are looking for a Nursery assistant to join our team! The nursery is a vibrant setting located in the heart of Marlow on Crown Road, situated in a beautifully converted Salvation Army church. It is strategically positioned just a stone’s throw from numerous local attractions, including lush parks, the community library, and the scenic riverbank. As Nursery Assistant, you will:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios
• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
• Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
• Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
