Job summary

A leading educational staffing agency is seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in Kingston Upon Thames. This full-time role requires NVQ Level 3 in Child Care. The successful candidate will support a teacher and work with small groups of children, assessing their progress and development. Applicants must demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, along with a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified NNEB or NVQ Level 3 practitioner in Child Care (or equivalent) to work in the Foundation Stage. The successful candidate whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher must be able to work independently and be capable of working with small groups of children in order to be able to assess their progress and development. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, strong written and oral communication skills, combined with good organisational skills and the ability to form and maintain positive suitable relationships with children.
