Randstad Education is seeking a committed Nursery Assistant to join a fantastic nursery in Horley, Surrey, for a long-term role. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in a child's foundational development!

Role Details
  • Position: Nursery Assistant
  • Location: Horley, Surrey
  • Contract: Long-Term, Full-Time
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Full-time hours)
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Supervision: Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children throughout the day.
  • Daily Support: Assist with essential daily routines, including mealtimes, nappy changing, and personal care.
  • Activity Facilitation: Support children's learning and development by leading engaging play-based activities.
  • Environment: Help create a fun, stimulating, and clean environment that adheres to all safeguarding and health and safety policies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the nursery team and communicate effectively with parents.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in an early years setting (paid or voluntary) is required.
  • Attributes: A patient, nurturing, and energetic approach to childcare.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment: Full commitment to the long-term, full-time hours (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
  • Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS check will be required).
