Day-to-day of the role
  • Support the delivery of creative learning activities for children, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of activities to meet children\'s individual needs.
  • Engage in play-based activities that encourage learning and development.
  • Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child\'s progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the nursery\'s continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
  • Experience in an early years setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
  • A caring and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for early years education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
