Abacus Ark Nursery Schools is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our growing team. You will help create a safe, fun and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive, supporting daily routines and liaising with parents to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Previous nursery/childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety.
• Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to provide two references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.

Full-Time, Permanent – 40 Hours Over 4 Days

Salary: £26,500 – £28,800 (depending on qualifications and experience)

About The Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. You’ll support daily routines, encourage children’s development, and work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure every child has a positive nursery experience.
