£7.55 per Hour

Working Hours

38 hours over 4 days, 8.00am - 6.00pm. 20% off your working week will be off the job learning.

What Being An Apprentice Involves

As an Early Years Apprentice, youll be part of a supportive team, learning while making a positive impact in childrens lives. Youll:

  • Dedicate 20% of your week to training, with the remainder spent gaining hands-on experience in a vibrant, nurturing environment.
  • Help create a warm, fun, and safe space where children thrive.
  • Engage children in play-based activities inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Support childrens developmental milestones and keep parents informed with updates.
  • Assist with daily routines, maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and care.

About Our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Innsworth provides exceptional childcare in a purpose-built, eco-friendly setting opposite Imjin Barracks. Our purpose-built nursery setting offers spacious, sunlit rooms ideal for exploration, featuring eco-friendly elements like a sedum roof and rainwater harvesting. Outside, our expansive garden exhibits a mud kitchen, vegetable garden, and engaging outdoor activities our children love. To locate The Old Station Nursery Innsworth, follow signs to HQ ARRC and turn opposite Imjin Store. Situated directly across from Imjin Barracks and just 5 minutes from the A40. There is parking available onsite next to Costcutter.
