Responsibilities

• Complete a relevant qualification within the agreed timeframe and develop professionally.
• Learn all aspects of the Key Person role with the support of a mentor.
• Have a shared responsibility for safeguarding, protecting children, parents, and staff from harm.
• Work as part of a supportive team.
• Carry out Practitioner tasks with support and supervision.

How Kindred will support you

• We will assign you a mentor to support you and guide you through your qualification.
• You will be enrolled onto a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Whilst you study towards your qualification, you will be given time for on-the-job training.
• Your mentor will ensure that you understand and follow company Policies and Procedures.
• The Nursery team will welcome you and help you to feel part of the Kindred family.

Kindred Nurseries has an opportunity for an inspiring and caring individual to join the team as a Nursery Apprentice. This would be an ideal position for somebody looking to start their career within the early years sector whilst learning a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and have a desire to learn about the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Framework).

Working Hours & Compensation

This is a full‑time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 35–40 hours Monday to Friday. The role offers an hourly rate of £7.55 per hour, with an extensive benefits package and a fully funded apprenticeship.
