Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join the Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in Crawley. This part-time, permanent role offers 25 hours per week with a pro rata annual pay of £27,248.

You’ll be starting in a supportive team environment within the UK’s largest healthcare charity. As an Early Years Apprentice you’ll help provide full and sessional care and preschool for children aged 3 months to 5 years, focusing on quality care, wellbeing and early education.

Qualifications

• Leaver from school/college with childcare qualification or childcare experience.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the small team at our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery
• Help deliver full day care, sessional care and pre-school for ages 3 months to 5 years
• Focus on supporting high-quality care, education, health and wellbeing
• Help children achieve the best possible start in life
• Maintain great communication with parents and carers
• Complete a Paediatric First Aid qualification
